EndResult® addins for MS Excel 2002 (XP)

Instructions for replacing the Excel addin ER-EXCEL.XLA.

1. Make sure you have the latest hardware key driver from SafeNet
    Go to http://www.safenet-inc.com/.
    Select Technical Support under Support & Downloads.
    Select Sentinel Keys under the Drivers and Utilities heading.
    Select Sentinel Protection Installer v.7.3.2 or greater under the Windows Driver & Utilities heading.
    Download and install the driver using the "Complete" install selection.
2. Delete the file er-excel.xla from your hard drive.
3. Download and unzip the file erxpdlls.zip.
4. Copy the unzipped EndResult *.dlls to the Winnt or windows directory.  Overwrite any previous versions of the dll files.
5. Download and unzip the file erxpxlls.zip.
6. Copy the unzipped EndResult *.xlls to a directory of your choosing.  Excel will probably look in C:\Documents and Settings\"username"\Application Data\Microsoft\Addins for the addins.
7. Start Excel.
8. Go to Tools-->Add-ins.
9. If necessary, browse to the directory containing the files:
		ermain32.xll
		ertool32.xll
	Load them in the order specified above.

Load your spreadsheet.  DO NOT LINK to ER-EXCEL.XLA! when excel asks you if you want to update links.

It will probably be necessary to do a Find and Replace in all cells containing EndResult functions replacing the path to the old ER-EXCEL.XLA with nothing.  An example would be":

Find
'C:\WINNT\Profiles\Administrator\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART\ER-EXCEL.XLA'!
Replace

Leave the replace field blank and select Replace All.  You will need to do this for each worksheet in each spreadsheet.
